Zander Haney- Zander participates in many events: sprints, sprint relays, hurdles and pole vault.  He has been a great role model for our younger athletes so far his senior year.  At Elder last week, he jumped a personal best of 9' 0" in pole vault.  

 

Maddie Broxterman- So far during her freshman season, Maddie has shown some real promise as a thrower.  She placed 5th in the shot put and 7th in the discus at Elder last week. 

 

Demar Parker- Demar spent a short amount of time injured recently, but came back a whole different person.  He has taken ownership of the 400m, which is a race he had very little experience with.  Demar had two great races at the Harrison Invite and has made a very strong bid for being a permanent member of our 4x400 relay team.  

 

Leni Sullivan- Leni had 3 great races at the Harrison Invitational on Friday.  She helped the 4x800 team place 2nd with a personal best time of 2:27.  She placed 5th in the 400 running a personal best time of 61.88.  She was the lead-off leg of the winning mixed 4x400 relay team.

 

Athletes competing at the St. Xavier High School on Wednesday will be released from class at 2:40 and the bus will leave at 3:00.  The meet starts at 4:30.  We have received no communication from St. Xavier about field event order or online ticketing.  If I learn anything else, I will share it.  The rosters are attached, please take note of which meet you are competing in.  Please let me know if you see any errors. 

 

Athletes competing at the Elder Panther Athletic Complex (1915 Quebec Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45205) on Thursday will be released from class at 2:40 and the bus will leave at 3:00.  The meet starts at 4:30.  Spectator tickets can be purchased at this link or with cash at the gate.  The rosters are attached, please take note of which meet you are competing in.  Please let me know if you see any errors.
