On January 23rd the girls competed in the Cardinal Classic at Colerain Bowl. The girls were 5th after the qualifying round, making it to the top 8 elimination rounds.  In the first round, the girls were matched up with Harrison who was the 4th seed. We rolled baker games of 170-136-190, which was enough to take 2 of 3 games beating Harrison.  We then moved on to the top 4 and had to face Seton. In just 2 baker games of 148 & 155, we eliminated Seton from the tournament making it to the Championship round where we faced Lebanon.

It took 3 games, but the ladies overcame Lebanon in 3 amazing games! Senior Paige Mettey struck out the 3rd game, forcing Lebanon to do the same to just tie; which they were not able to do. The team of ladies who were in the tournament that day was:
