Senior guard Dy’Jhanik Armfield led a balanced scoring attack with 21 points and a season-high 9 steals as Oak Hills broke open a close game in the final period to defeat Turpin, 55-42, in non-league action. The Highlanders locked down on defense and help the Spartans to just 4 points in the final period. Armfield also finished with 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocked shots. Junior guard Anna Thomas added 10 points and 3 assists and 3 steals and junior guard Emma Miller added 8 points. Junior forward Brynn Gourley also chipped in with 8 points and senior center Jaylah Herzog added 7 rebounds and 5 steals in the win. Oak Hills improves to 7-3 on the season, 3-2 in the GMC.
