Pink Games Update

September 23, 2019

Volleyball Pink Games

Thank you to everyone who came out on Friday night to support our Games for the Cause at the varsity football game!  Football, Cheer, Golf, Cross Country and Tennis came together and raised $2000 for the Pink Ribbon Girls!  Thanks to everyone who donated raffle baskets and baked treats to sell.  We had some very happy raffle winners!

A big thanks to Lori Huellemeier who coordinated the evening and her volunteers from the fall teams - we couldn't do it without you!  A special thanks to Jan Middleton, Nick & Noah Kleiner, and Caroline & Carl McClurg who represented the Pink Ribbon Girls and volunteered at the game.

A salute to Lori Huellemeier, Missy Dance, and Caroline McClurg three very brave women who are all cancer survivors.  They were wonderful representatives for all cancer survivors and those who we have lost to cancer at the coin flip prior to the game.  Thank you ladies you are #OHStrong!

Our last Games for the Cause event will be this Saturday, September 28th with Girls' Volleyball taking on Milford with Freshman and JV starting at 10a in the North and South Gyms, and Varsity starting at 11a in the North Gym. We will have awesome raffle baskets, baked goods, Pink Ribbon Girls' swag, t-shirts, and split the pot at the games so please come out to support your Highlanders and the Pink Ribbon Girls!

Thanks to senior Mayson Reperowitz for creating the volleyball flyer!
