The softball team is currently 6-3. They got off to a slow start in a heavy GMC loaded schedule. Kayla Roddy (Jimmy Johns and GMC Player of the week) is leading the squad on the mound with 50 innings already under her belt. Emma Bode has been clutch for the Highlanders thus far hitting .591 and sitting #2 among the GMC stat leaders with Mattison Fisher not far behind at .433. The Highlanders are young and inexperienced in some areas but senior leadership will provide a punch to keep wins coming.
