Oak Hills – After starting the season 1-3, they’ve won four straight after beating Hamilton and Lakota West last week.
Top Ohio Big-School Baseball Player of the Week
Landen Seifert, Oak Hills – The senior pitched 4.1 shutout innings in a 3-0 win over La Salle, allowing two hits and striking out five.
Top Ohio Big-School Softball Player of the Week
Brooke Hoffmeier, Oak Hills – The freshman went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored as the Highlanders came back to beat Lakota West.
Top Ohio Boys' Track and Field Athlete of the Week
Owen Huff, Oak Hills – He won the 800-meter run at Ross in 2:05.78, then ran a personal best of 4:44.02 to win the 1,600-meter run.
Top Ohio Girls' Track and Field Athlete of the Week
Meaghan Zimmerly, Oak Hills – She took third place in the 1,600-meter run at Ross in 5:51.92, then took fifth in the 800-meter run in 2:40.05.
