This week we have three Highlanders who are nominated in the Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Athlete of the Week poll! Please VOTE for Tanner, Ella, and Lillie until 4pm on Friday!
Top Ohio Big-School Boys' Bowler of the Week
Tanner Iles, Oak Hills – He averaged 227 in wins over Mason and Harrison, including games of 224 and 258 against Mason in league play. He also led the team with a three-game series of 613 in the Holiday Classic.
Top Ohio Big-School Girls' Bowler of the Week
Ella Weinmann, Oak Hills – The junior led the Highlanders in two wins last week, including games of 225 and 169 against Harrison.
Top Girls' Wrestler of the Week
Lilliana Anderson, Oak Hills – Anderson pinned all four opponents to finish as 140-pound champion at the Hammer and Anvil.
